Thank You for Making My Work and Life Easier

by Nursetopia on September 22, 2011

I enjoy writing thank you notes to people who make a difference in my life. Jimmy Fallon cracks me up with his thank you note segments, and sometimes I want to join in on the thank you note hilarity.

This week, though, I am seriously thankful for Outlook calendar reminders, gas stations selling travel-size fingernail polish remover, instructions printed directly on equipment (rather than paper that gets lost), and items – both at work and at home – with off switches. Each has come in quite handy in a pinch this week.

So, thank you. You made my life easier this week, and I’ll take all the easy I can get.

What are you thankful for this week?

I am thankful for my brother, for my dinner out w/my dad last night, for my kids’ school nurse, for meaningful work, for sunny days, for a secret garden, for my tennis game, for creativity, for wordpress.

This is a great idea!!!
Maybe we should dub this ‘Thank you Thursdays?’. Hell – I think I will do that. Start dedicating a quick blog post each Thursday about my thank you’s.
Thank YOU Joni (and Jimmy F) for this great idea. We could use a lil more positivity.

Ditto to Sean – great idea!

I’m thankful for coffee, good friends, Planet Fitness, pumpkin muffins, homemade ‘monster spray’ (to keep the monsters away, of course!), air conditioning, and checks in the mail.
