What’s Important to Remember

by Nursetopia on September 18, 2012

Ever lose track of a conversation in front of a group of people? Want to make people walk away with your point in mind? Repeat this phrase with me: “What’s important to remember is…”

That one phrase jolts brains into thinking, “Oh, I should pay attention; this is important to remember.” It also turns drifting conversations back to your main point. Make sure you do have a strong main point before using it, though.

Do you use this or any other technique to redirect conversations or draw attention to your main discussion point?
