We limit our use of the word “love.” It’s a four-letter word to many – frightening and scarcely spoken. It’s definitely not a common sight in any sentence associated with leadership and management.
But it should be.
The most successful leaders and managers understand how powerful and important people are to the organization. They nurture those assets. They train those individuals. They care for them. The best managers and leaders listen to those around them and then forge ahead for the betterment of the organization, which includes those who are following.
Transformative, respected management and leadership means loving people and showing it.
